EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT CHARGING

Whether you are at home, at the office, or on a getaway, there are lots of charging solutions for your electric vehicle.

AT HOME

You can charge your electric vehicle using a conventional domestic socket with the standard cable supplied. It will take around 7 hours and 25 minutes to charge a C5 Aircross SUV.  Want a faster system? Nothing could be easier. Opt for a reinforced socket or a WallBox:

  • The WallBox reduces your charging time the most (between 2 and 4 hours for the C5 Aircross SUV)
  • The reinforced socket, known as Green'Up, is a good compromise. It is more energy-efficient when charging but is slower than a WallBox (4 hours 15 for the C5 Aircross SUV)

IN THE STREET

You will need a compatible cable to use public charging points (available as an accessory in the Citroën network or supplied when you purchase a WallBox). The points available on public streets have an average power of 22 kW, allowing you to regain 100% of your range in under 2 hours, but some can be more powerful. Rechargeable hybrids are only compatible with charging points up to 43 kW.
